Like the Wind, Like the Sea

It has been long since I last made a hiking, perhaps not less half a year ago. Yesterday Yaw brought Sebastian and me to this place called Bukit Hijau, which is within the vicinity of where I stay. I initially suggested for Bukit Gambir where I used to go, but there is always serendipity in trying out new things.

The journey to the top of the hill is not too difficult, amateur like us only took about half an hour to be able to enjoy the beauty of the Penang island from the hill top. On one side of the hill, it oversees Air Itam and Paya Terubong. On the other side of the hill, it captures the view of the Greenlane and the old George Town, and the Gunung Jerai from afar. If we had enough courage to do a night hike, the night scene of the Pearl would just be too awesome to describe in words. Hope we would have a chance to do a night venture one day.
